The Leadership Institute
What Is The Leadership Institute?
Every fall, Nashville Junior Chamber hosts a preeminent professional development course called The Leadership Institute. The Leadership Institute offers a bespoke 8 week training program for 15 of Nashville’s rising leaders led by two of Nashville’s most influential CEOs.
The cost for NJC members is $100 and the cost for nonmembers is $150. The nominal fee covers the cost of course materials and a family-style meal upon graduation.
Once accepted, course participants can expect to enhance their leadership skills by learning and practicing public speaking, conflict resolution, and effective interoffice leadership and communication skills with their peers.
When Is It Held?
The Leadership Institute 2023 will run from September 18 - November 13. The course will be held on Monday nights from 6-9pm.
Course attendance is mandatory, but excused absences can be discussed on a case-by-case basis with instructors. In addition to class time, there will be research, preparation, and small homework assignments each week.
