March NJC Membership Meeting

Join us March 22 for our monthly Membership Meeting! We will come together at the Space at 100 Taylor to mix, mingle, and hear from our special speaker. Members are highly encouraged to attend and guests are welcome.

Issac Addae, author of Black Boy Fly is going to talk with member, Colton Mulligan, about purpose, influence, and change. We'll touch on growing your career, finding meaning, overcoming challenges, self-care and many other topics.

Dr. Isaac Y. Addae is an award-winning educator, author, speaker, and
strategist. He serves as the Chief Strategy Officer of Pivot Technology School
(a Nashville-based coding academy), and as Managing Partner at HBCU Impact Capital (an emerging venture capital fund).


He spent 7 years as an Assistant Professor of Business Administration in the
College of Business at Tennessee State University (TSU) where he taught courses in business strategy, entrepreneurship and leadership. Isaac possesses 8 years of experience in technology consulting and systems development across the automotive, defense, and information technology industries (IBM, Booz Allen Hamilton, CACI, Ford, Raytheon). He completed a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an M.S. in Systems Engineering at TSU. He also earned a PhD in Business Administration at Morgan State University.


As an engaged servant leader, Isaac is a board member of Corner To Corner,
Knowledge Bank, and the Nashville Metro Health and Educational Facilities board. He is also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. In Fall 2021, Isaac released his first book, Black Boy Fly: Embracing My Ancestry, Blackness, and Purpose in the African Diaspora. The book serves as a tool to empower Black males to overcome obstacles and fly toward greatness by documenting his journey as a 1st-gen Ghanaian-American.
