The Athens of the South is facing an education crisis. Let's change that.
Pitch Nashville is a Ted Talk meets Shark Tank where we give Nashvillians a platform to pitch their ideas to solve some issue our community faces. The winning team takes home a sizeable cash prize and will be connected with influencers in our community to implement their solution.
This year's topic: Education.
According to the Nashville Chamber in their 2017 Education Report, high school graduation rates dropped for the third year in a row to 80.3%. Tennessee's schools overall have been rated top 10 worst education systems in the country.
We're looking for sponsors and silent auction items for the event, which will be hosted at the Bridge Building on November 8th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
Email Tyler@TheCaubleGroup.com for sponsorship opportunities.
The Junior Chamber is anticipating a turnout of 100 to 150 people and the event will be judged by Michael Burcham (CEO of Narus Health), David Plazas (The Tennessean), and several other prominent education figures.
There will be a $2,500 grand prize to the winner of this event from The Cauble Group.
