January Hands On Event: Shower the People

  • 6100 Centennial Blvd. Suite E Nashville TN (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Shower The People’s primary purpose is to show love by providing mobile shower facilities to homeless individuals in the community. It believes that a shower is an essential part of a person’s well-being and self-worth. So many people do not have access to a simple shower, which many of us take for granted. The ability to become physically clean restores dignity and opens the doors of opportunity, by way of jobs and housing.

During this hands-on event, members of the Nashville Junior Chamber will be putting together hygenie kits and tie-dying towels for future use by the organization.

Carnivale For a Cause

Shake off the cold and step into the warmth of the spotlight as the Nashville Junior Chamber hosts the 1st Annual Carnivale For A Cause. Join us as we revisit the glory days of entertainment that became known as "The Greatest Show on Earth." In its prime, the circus was a place to see and be seen, where men and women from the very edges of society gathered in their best attire to experience the magic together. What better way to host one of the biggest social events of the year benefiting our 2018-2019 charity of the year, The Humane Society? So come out of the post holiday season slump and start the new year by presenting your best self and giving back while we gather under the big top for a great cause!

Joy of Giving

Everyone knows that it is better to give than receive. Here is your opportunity to give to those that are in need. Our Annual Joy of Giving event is here. We are raising funds for the children of Kirkpatrick Elementary School in East Nashville. Every year they have students show up to school without proper winter attire. By purchasing a ticket to this event you are making a donation to help one young boy or girl be properly-equipped to handle the upcoming winter. We will be having a pizza party, playing games, and making arts & crafts with the students while we all eagerly wait for a visit from Santa!

By purchasing a ticket, you are making a donation to purchase one of the following:

A pair of mittens ($3.00)
A winter hat ($5.00)
A scarf ($10.00)
A winter coat ($25.00)
"Adopt a child" giving all of the above ($43.00)

We look forward to seeing all of you there and Happy Holidays!
